Is Summer of the Monkeys a good book?
Cannot say enough good about this book. My nine year old son read this book and loved it. He laughed (I cried too) as well as learned about selfless love. This is a humorous story about a boy and his dog in search of capturing escaped circus monkeys for the reward money and all of their adventures during the process.
