Mountain bikes (frame sizes, at least) are measured in inches — road bike frames are usually measured in centimeters. I guess it’s because roadies have more of a presence in Europe, which is also where racing really originated. Bolts and fasteners — you’d be hard-pressed to find a non-metric size.
