What is the Difference in Movement between Dumbbell Squats and Dumbbell Deadlifts?

No difference. If they are by your side technically every up and down motion you do is both a deadlift and a squat. as long as your legs are bending then you are doing both. I personally like doing squats with dumbbells and I deadlift mainly with barbell but you can get a similar gain with both.
