1. SoulCycle At-Home Select Cycling Shoes. If you’ve just purchased your SoulCycle At-Home Bike, what’s better than buying the SoulCycle At-Home Select Cycling Shoes ($175) to go with it? These shoes are comfortable, durable, and feature quick Velcro straps for when you’re pressed for time.

Does SoulCycle provide shoes?

No. We offer shoe rentals at all studios in the USA for $3 and $2 CAD in Canada. You are of course welcome to bring your own though. We recommend Look Delta clips, but our pedals are also SPD compatible.

Are peloton shoes compatible with SoulCycle?

Definitely! If you already have the Peloton-branded spin shoes, you can use them at other cycling studios.

Is SoulCycle good for losing weight?

If you love SoulCycle and the like, don’t stop going. The high-intensity cardio is an effective, efficient way to burn calories, and the pedaling gives you some resistance training, too.

These shoes tend to run small. We recommend you select a full size up from your regular shoe size. Specifically engineered to perform in hot, humid conditions. Compatible with both LOOK® and SPD cleats.

Can you wear shorts to SoulCycle?

Wear shorts.
SoulCycle recommends “form-fitting pants or shorts,” and we suggest the latter if you want to spend the class wincing as your thighs chafe against the seat. SoulCycle sells athletic tights in the studio lobby—which would eliminate this problem—but that would require arriving a bit early to procure some.

Is SoulCycle harder than Peloton?

SoulCycle was definitely a more fun way to work out, and if you don’t like working out alone, this is the option for you. However, Peloton was the overall winner. It’s easy to use, you have a ton of choices if you don’t have time for a 45-minute class, and the instructors felt as motivational as those at SoulCycle.

Did you lose weight with Peloton?

With the Peloton workouts, I wasn’t getting sore or hurt. I was amazed that I lost that much weight and felt great doing it. My plan was to work out every single day, even if it was just 20 minutes. And if I could only do those 20 minutes, I was determined to give it my all.

How often should you buy new spin shoes?

On average cycling cleats need to be replaced every 7000 miles.
