Do glueless tube patches work as well as glue ones?

Glueless tire patches are adhesive-based and are therefore not as effective as the standard ones which operate on the principle of rubber vulcanization.

I’ve use glueless patches for a number of tube repairs and have found them to be just as durable as the glued patches.
