Can you build muscle when you are on a low carb diet but supplementing with branch chain amino acids?

Do branched-chain amino acids build muscle?

The branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are a group of three essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine. They are essential, meaning they can’t be produced by your body and must be obtained from food. BCAA supplements have been shown to build muscle, decrease muscle fatigue and alleviate muscle soreness.

Can you still gain muscle on a low-carb diet?

Yes, you can build muscle on a low-carb diet provided you get plenty of protein and other nutrients essential to building lean muscle mass.
