What are Revoshift shifters?
The REVOSHIFT shifter requires just twisting with thumb and index finger while keeping your hands on the handlebar. Easy and reliable shifting is good for average riders and beginners. Dual-diameter shift collar allows any hand size to get a secure grip on the shift collar.
What is a trigger shifter?
Trigger shifters: Also known as ‘rapidfire’ shifters, these are located below the handlebar. Riders use a thumb button to shift to larger sprockets and a small index-finger operated ‘trigger’ to downshift.
How do twist grip shifters work?
When you feel like it’s too hard to pedal and want to shift into an easier gear, you twist the shifter back. It clicks as you twist and the action moves the rear derailleur, which in turn shifts the chain onto the next larger rear cog making it easier to pedal.
Can I swap Grip Shift to trigger?
Not that bad, just get compatible triggers, probably new cable since it will most likely fray when you’re removing/installing them. Remove the old grips and remove gripshift, then install triggers and new/old grips. Easy to do.
