What does ISO diameter mean?
What is the ISO size? It’s the diameter of the bead of the rim in millimeters and should match precisely to the rim.
What does ISO tire size mean?
The ISO measurement displays the tire’s nominal width in millimeters, followed by the diameter of the tire’s bead (the surface that actually attaches to the rim) in millimeters (ex: 25 x 622 is a common road tire).
What is the best rim width?
If your wheel set is going to be used for both road and gravel, select a road rim and tire sizes 25mm-50mm. This means an internal rim width of at least 20mm.
