Can you run SRAM AXS with 11 speed?
With firmware version 2.29. 4 or greater installed, SRAM is now allowing newer Red AXS, Force AXS, and eTap AXS BlipBox shifters to be paired with older 11-speed eTap front and rear derailleurs.
Does SRAM eTap work with rim brakes?
Red and Force are available in a wireless electronic version called eTap; the mechanical versions of Force, Rival and Apex are available in 1X configurations (with a single chainring instead of a double), and all four have hydraulic disc brakes as options, as well as mechanical rim brakes.
Can I use a Shimano crankset with SRAM?

Yes, a 12 speed chain will work fine with an 11 speed cassette. 12 speed chain is narrower than an 11 speed chain so it will fit between the adjoining cogs fine. You can not put an 11 speed chain on a 12 speed drivetrain, it’s too wide and will rub against the adjoining cogs.
