Should you look at the hole when putting?

On breaking putts, don’t look at the hole. Look at the point where the putt will break off.

Do any pro golfers look at the hole when putting?

Many golfers say they get so used to putting this way that they start chipping using these methods as well. Chipping while looking at the hole is useful for some people, but not quite as much as the putting is. This is a bit tough, and there are very few professionals who will do this in their game.

Does looking at the hole while putting work?

Putting whilst looking at the hole works. A lot of people find it helps your rhythm and stops you steering the ball. Most guide it and watch what the putter is doing. But if you throw something, you look at the target and not what you’re throwing.
