Can I leave a power rack outside?

Keeping a squat rack outside is perfectly fine – provided you take basic precautions. Heck, just think about Venice Beach with all that equipment sitting out in the salty seaside air all year round!

It’s just not a good idea to put rubber tiles, rolls or even mats directly over your soft carpet. It’s not stable and you could seriously injure yourself. Imagine lifting weights on a wobbly surface, or running on a treadmill with a wobbly subfloor.

Should you wear shoes when working out on carpet?

If you’re on a softer surface, like a carpeted floor, barefoot should be fine, as long as you’re comfortable. But if you’re exercising in the unfinished basement or garage on cement, you may want to slip on some sneakers for the more explosive movements like jumping jacks and burpees.

Is it okay to workout without bra?
