ILIOTIBIAL (IT)-BAND SYNDROME It can feel like a dull pain on the outside of your knee that starts about 10 to 20 minutes into a workout. As it gets worse, it can radiate up and down your leg, even while you’re walking downstairs or down a hill.

Why does the outside of my knee hurt after running?
