This beautiful (but sometimes wet and foggy!), paved, family-friendly hiking trail ends at Waimea Falls. There is an entry fee (for adults and children, military pricing) for this hike.

Does it cost to hike Waimea Falls?

While there are lots of free things you can do on Oahu, a visit to Waimea Valley does require an entry fee. The admissions fee for Waimea Valley is $18 per person. You can buy tickets when you arrive at the park.

The Waimea Falls Hike to the waterfall is one of the easiest hikes to do in Oahu and one of the best waterfall hikes on the island. The trail is well-marked and only takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the waterfall. It’s an excellent hike for all ages and is mostly shaded, making it a perfect choice on a hot day.

Can you drive up to Waimea Falls?

You can drive to this site a quarter mile up a small road off the main highway, or take a small hike up a trail that starts just beyond the entrance to the beach parking lot. There are some nice views along the way and up top!!

Is the Dole Plantation worth it?
