Do SunPatiens need deadheading?

Their good points are many: They have brilliant colors, they are cute and cheerful, they bloom constantly and don’t need deadheading. The bad side, however, is they need water, water and more water to prevent serious drooping, especially if they get a lot of sun.

Should Sunpatiens be cut back?

In most cases, SunPatiens should not be cut back to control size as it alters their natural form; but, if Vigorous types get taller than desired in mid- to late summer, they can be cut back, taking off the top one-third of growth.
