They have to be carried in a bag, and the maximum length is 85cm. (There’s no other maximum dimension, as long as they’re not taller/wider than 85cm!) This covers most folding bikes with 20-inch wheels, such as Bike Fridays and many Dahons/Terns, as well as 16-inchers like Bromptons.
