Can you swim at Lake Anza?

Water flows into Lake Anza from Wildcat Creek and is located within Tilden Regional Park. This peaceful beach has a great recreational swimming area and offers plenty of amenities such as changing rooms, a snack bar/cafe, toilets and a large parking areas.

Why is Lake Anza closed?

Notice: Lake Anza is CLOSED for the 2022 season due to ongoing maintenance. Located in Tilden Regional Park, just over the hill from Berkeley, Lake Anza is a favorite getaway.
