10 spd chains are narrower by the virtue of having thinner plates at the sides. 9spd will work fine for a single ring setup, just not for multiples. HTH! 9 and 10 speed chains are the same internal width, so single chainrings are totally interchangable.

A nine speed crank set will work with a 10 speed drive train. However it’s not all plain sailing. You can have trouble using a 10 speed FD with a 9 speed crank set. It doesn’t shift as far out as the 9 speed so you may experience sloppy changes to the outer ring and chain rub against the FD in some gears.

The 11 spd cassette will fit fine on the freehub. The problem may be the 9 spd RD won’t handle the 46t cog. Derailleurs have a spec capacity and max cog size. Capacity is the difference between the smallest and largest cog plus the difference between the smallest and largest chainring.
