The River ExeThe River Exe is Devon’s main river. Rising on Exmoor, it flows south for more than 50 miles, through Tiverton and Exeter and into the sea at Exmouth. The River Exe is more than 50 miles long and stretches almost all the way from the Bristol Channel in the north to the English Channel in the south.

How far is Tiverton from the sea?

If you set off earlier then a visit to Crackington Haven in North Cornwall,about 70 miles/90 minutes away is also a must. In East Devon it will take you about 45 minutes to drive to Exmouth, where there is a long golden sandy beach. If you drive to the far end there is almost always parking overlooking the beach.
